Dragos Gal Wins Prestigious Tekpon Award

"Salesperson of the Year" was one of the 11 award categories at this year's event. It's obviously an important role in what is a congested tech landscape. And, as Tekpon put it, 

The “Salesperson of the Year” award is to be crowned among the elite to be acknowledged for a performance that goes beyond the conventional. Sure, it’s about shattering sales targets, but it’s also about showcasing strategic brilliance, unyielding resilience, and an unrelenting focus on the customer.

Tekpon presented this award to three individuals that they felt fitted this description. Dragos is one of them, but we'd also like to congratulate the other two winners - VP of Origination Ignacio Villanueva at Boopos and Loyee.ai founder Desiree-Jessica Pely. So well done to both of them!

But back to Dragos. He's had a highly successful year here at TWIPLA, but this award is really a culmination of the knowledge and competency he has built up across sales, business development, and consultancy throughout his career - including his history working previously for Pluralsight and LOES Attorneys.

Tekpon playfully refer to its annual awards event as the "Oscars of SaaS". It exists to celebrate those businesses and individuals who have shown real ingenuity, and who are offering something that has the power to transform the way that people work and live.

This year was the inaugural event. It took place between June 18th and 20th, welcoming 500 software professionals for two days of networking, recognition, and general celebration! It turned out to be fantastically organized, enabling participants to connect with like-minded individuals, establish new business connections, and close deals that could well dictate the direction that the SaaS industry develops over the next few years.
