Session Recordings: Various Enhancements

Visitor Action Filtering Options

Explore these new playback options in the drop-down filter menu. Pull up a list filtered to the action type you need, and then jump to the location of each with a single click.

Visitor Actions Summary

Hover your mouse over the Visitor Actions tab to pull up a snapshot overview of all the actions that visitors have taken within the session recording you're watching.

Mouse Hover Timestamps

We’ve added mouse hovers to the playback timebar, even when no specific events were tracked, making it even easier to track visitor session interactions.

We’ve introduced a new filter category for our eCommerce module, with sub-filters. These can be found in Overview by clicking on the eCommerce option in the filter dropdown. These new (sub) filters are:

  • Customer ID.
  • Item Category 1.
  • Item Category 2.
  • Item Category 3.
  • Item Category 4.
  • Item Category 5.
  • Affiliation.

The item category names can also be customized, enabling you to associate them with whatever products (or services) you want.

This feature was developed in response to requests from an enterprise client seeking the flexibility to filter by categories that are crucial to their operation in the travel industry.

We’ve upgraded the "My UTM Campaigns" tab with additional filtering options that you can now use in both Overview and Details:

  • Bounce Rate.
  • Campaign Medium.
  • Campaign Platform.
  • Campaign Source.
  • Campaign Term.
  • Content.
  • Creative Format.

These enhancements make it significantly easier to retrieve valuable data insights, helping you better analyze and optimize your campaigns. Dive in and explore the new filtering capabilities today!

In the Privacy Center, you’ll now find a new tab that details the logic and usage recommendations for visitor opt-outs.

This enhancement relates to our dual tracking code options that allow TWIPLA to collect data on visitors who opt out of your cookie banner policies when not set to Maximum Privacy Mode.

With this new feature, you can now offer visitors the ability to block this consentless tracking by adding a snippet to your cookie banner. The tab also provides recommendations on when to adopt this logic for optimal compliance.

The person making the data export request will now receive the download completion notification, rather than the account owner.

And remember, you also have complete control over your data. It can be downloaded based on either visitors or page views, you can select a custom time range, and choose between .CSV or .XLSX formats.

But this new notification system means you’ll be informed as soon as your data is ready for use outside of our platform, eliminating the need check with the master account holder.
